Over the past few weeks, we collectively were able to stain top to bottom the fence surrounding the playground at the Hope House. It ended up taking us a bit longer than we anticipated to get the entire fence done, but we were thankful to finish it all up before the weather gets too cold outside. We are currently in the process of adopting a family from the Hope House and possibly getting some donations for hats and gloves to donate to the Hope House for the winter. At the Hope House there are many families living there, some single moms with kids even that we as a class are wishing to buy Christmas gifts for and making an impact on a family. In the meantime, we have been enjoying still visiting and volunteering on Wednesdays to help keep up with jobs in the thrift store. Below is a mission statement from the Hope House placed in the thrift store which encapsulates the whole idea and purpose of our project.
